Batman vs. Fables

You don’t need to be a comic book lover to know who Batman is, thanks to the successful film franchise. But you do need to know comics to have any idea what Fables is about. So, that would seem to put the book about fairy tale characters living in the real world at a distinct disadvantage. But, guess what?
