Lord of the Rings vs. Battlestar Galactica

Another tough matchup in the first round of the 1st Annual Geek Force Five Tournament. How does one decide between the crew of the Battlestar Galactica and the Fellowship of the Ring. Aragorn, Legolas, and all of their hobbit friends—they saved all of Middle Earth! But, the crew of BSG is in the process of saving the whole of humanity or something, aren’t they? I knew this would be close. I never got caught up in the Lords hype and I love Peter Jackson. The fact that someone who brought Bad Taste,Meet the Feebles, and DeadAlive to the screen has Oscars is beyond awesome. I am also a Viggo fan because that guy is one strange bird. BattleStar I was a fan of the original, an obvious Star Wars ripoff. The new show has given sci-fi (not psyfy or whatever they are spinning it now) some serious cred. Plus any show with The Olmos in it I have no choice to vote for.
