Bikini-Clad STAR WARS: Even She Gets Boarded Sometimes
by E. Christopher Clark | Tuesday, August 18, 2009
Los Angeles swimsuit designers 1690 Swimwear have come up with a rather, um, interesting viral video campaign for their products. It involves, as I hope you can see above, a group of women in bikinis reading lines from the Star Wars films.
Among the tags Geekologie used in their write-up was the phrase “this is degrading.” What do you think? Is it degrading, or is it all in good fun?
And, more importantly, who is their target audience here? Star Wars geeks who live in their parents basements with Real Dolls [Link NSFW] in need of “high quality, fashion conscious swimsuits that capture the youthful vitality and playful lifestyle of the women of Los Angeles”?
