Celebrities Love Twitter! Even Porn Stars!

Did MySpace jump the shark when the porn stars started showing up and creating profiles? Has Twitter just done the same thing? Just last week, Violet Blue posted an extensive list of “sex Tweeters” (NSFW). And, as Violet pointed out, the list has doubled in size since she posted it.

I’ve been monitoring the situation out of not-entirely-morbid curiosity, and what’s most interesting to me is that actresses like Nikki Benz are actually using the platform for what it was meant for: they’re communicating with their fans. Unlike some celebrities Twitterers, they’re actually posting the updates themselves. Very interesting. What say you?
