Destroying New York City (On Film, That Is)

by E. Christopher Clark | Wednesday, December 2, 2009

Maybe it’s because New York City is the only major city I’ve visited that I actively hated upon leaving, or maybe not. I’m not sure why, to be honest, but seeing Manhattan destroyed on film is strangely satisfying, and this montage of NYC destruction scenes features some of the most fun apocalyptic imagery ever captured on celluloid (or generated by super-computer, as the case may be).
