Zack Morris on LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON

by E. Christopher Clark | Tuesday, June 9, 2009

Somehow, someway Jimmy Fallon convinced Mark-Paul Gosselaar to appear on Late Night in character as Saved by the Bell‘s Zack Morris. And the result, ladies and gentlemen, was comedy gold. Alan Sepinwall of the New Jersey Star-Ledger asks if this was more impressive than Colbert landing Obama last night, and all I have to say is, “Sorry Barack, but you just got hit with a ZACK ATTACK!”

The funniest line of the bit was a Good Morning, Miss Bliss shout-out. “I was actually raised in Indiana,” said Zack/Mark, “but then I moved out west with my two friends and my high school principal.”

Instant ROFLMAO over here. How about where you are?

That kicks a stupid amount of ass!  I wish I stayed up later.  Stupid 9:30 bedtime.

I laughed just reading what you wrote about this - it’s SO FUNNY. I was crying at my computer. Love love love love love it! So much brilliance, from the 1502 on the SATs to the phone to Jimmy saying he couldn’t believe he got The Zack Attack on the show…. Ahahahahahaha. I’m going to watch this every day for the rest of my life. Or until NBC pulls it.

@Brendan - I only ever catch these things the day after myself, so don’t feel bad.

@Bethany - Glad you liked it, too. I will probably be watching it at least once a day myself.
