Last Week on LOST: What Kate Does
It’s time to be honest with myself, right? I am totally incapable of getting these Lost posts up on the day after the show airs. After all, I have a job. In fact, I have two. So, I’m just going to re-title the column for now and aim to get these before the next episode airs. Cool?
Cool.
So, without further ado, here are my thoughts on last week’s episode of Lost, “What Kate Does.”
Last Night on LOST: LA X
Okay, so… I’m a little late with this here column. But I’ve got an excuse. Really, I do. You see, this upstart television program called Battlestar Galactica has been consuming my brain, one cell at a time, for the past several weeks. And all of the geek time that I would normally allocate toward the dissection of the latest episode of Lost has been getting used up by that part of me that needs to know who the last cylon is, and who needs to know what the heck they’re going to do when they reach Earth. So, I hope you’ll understand. I am 10 episodes from the end of Battlestar, and I anticipate that this revolting development will be over soon. Soon, I shall be back to obsessing about the one show to rule them all, the one show to find them, the one show to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
Bwah-ha-ha!!!
But—ahem—until then, here are my thoughts on last night’s week’s episode of Lost, the premiere episode of season six, “LA X”.
Lots More LOST
Apparently, I’m not the only who’s excited about tonight’s sixth season premiere of Lost. Kirk from Moss Creek Media sent me a link to a hilarious set of Lost parodies done with action figures, sometime GF5-contributor Buj pointed me in the direction of this article on Slate, and the boys from Totally Lost take their island obsession to new levels of hilarity (and depravity) with an episode featuring cameos by Titus Welliver (the Man in Black) and Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet).

This image, which I found via the ever-reliable DarkUFO, has to be one of the most captivating promotional images for Lost’s sixth season that I’ve yet seen. It might even be better than that chess-themed Spanish trailer we got a while back. That’s how juicy I think this is, how ripe I think it is for dissection. The bit I’ve embedded above is just a tease.
