Fett’s Vette Music Video (NSFW)
A music video has surfaced for MC Chris’s “Fette’s Vette,” and Geekologie calls it “okay”. I think it’s a little bit better than “okay,” but I wouldn’t go so far as to call it great. It features clips from Star Wars and a couple of other sci-fi films that MC Chris mentions in the very funny but very not-safe-for-work song.
Geek Force FiveCast 010 (Video)
Here’s an absolutely stellar arrangement of clips from Fenway Park’s Opening Day 2008. The Boston Red Sox beat the Detroit Tigers (five-to-zip, I think), but the only part of the game that I caught was the pre-game. My sound also managed to get lost somewhere between when I shot the clips and when I finally got them transcoded into an iMovie-compatible format. Oh well. I was going to use the Dropkick Murphys as a soundtrack anyway.
Chris Clark sells Pizza.com for $2.6 Million
Geekologie reports that Chris Clark has sold Pizza.com for a cold $2.6 million. Unfortunately, Chris Clark is not the same ChrisClark, and none of that money will be coming to me. D’OH!
Geek Force FiveCast 009 (Video)
Today, I’m geeking out about the new format of the Sesame Street podcast. The show’s format used to revolve around a weekly “Word on the Street,” but now centers on helping children become “Happy, Healthy Monsters.” Watch the vid to get my take on this development.
Good People Day 2008
Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library TV called for April 3, 2008 to be Good People Day. Said Gary, “I want to try to get the WHOLE INTERNET community behind this mission I have to make sure that [today] people write and talk and blog and twitter and just flat out SING about people that are AWESOME and GOOD.”
This here vid is my response. In it, I talk mostly about the Internet peeps whose videos help me get through the day. But I’ve begun to contribute my thoughts on my non-Internet, IRL peeps at GoodPeopleDay.net.
Basically, to sum up, if you’re reading this blog, you’re probably good people. And if I don’t write about you today, please don’t feel offended. I will write about you soon enough.
